Branding, launch and internal operations set-up
Overview
Dawn are transformation specialists which means they are dedicated to empowering individuals, teams, and organisations achieve the change they want to see. They offer a range of learning and development services, including coaching and bespoke programmes carefully designed to foster lasting change in people and organisations.
Having worked together in various senior Learning & Development roles and each running their own leadership coaching businesses, Sally and Helen finally united at Dawn to deliver their expert approach to values-driven transformation. This meant they needed all new ways of working, branding, a new website and lots of professional branded content. Intend collaborated with Dawn to establish this and get Dawn officially up and running!
Challenge
As busy mums of two juggling client work, parenting, and launching a new business, Sally and Helen faced the challenge of limited time and resources. They also lacked some expertise in marketing which was important for their business launch. They needed support in setting up Dawn's operations and marketing without compromising on their other commitments.
Solution
Intend partnered with Dawn to lay a solid foundation for the business’s first 6-9 months by focusing on operational excellence and brand building. This included:
Operational setup: We established core business goals, standardised ways of working and created central documentation to keep track of everything. This included streamlining comms, setting up a central SharePoint system, setting up WhatsApp for Business to keep in touch with course delegates, and launching Thinkific-an online learning platform where course attendees can access all necessary materials.
Brand development: Following the brand guidelines from the branding agency, we further developed Dawn’s brand identity with new website content, and created branded marketing materials like presentation PDFs and course slides. We also crafted branded merchandise, including notebooks and welcome packs for new delegates and conducted Dawn’s first ever brand shoot to gather some imagery for the website and socials.
Marketing strategy: To reach new audiences, we carried out some initial marketing activities, including a free workshop designed to spark conversations and generate potential leads, am easily-editable proposal document showcasing their best case studies and the setting up of client feedback and testimonials for future marketing activities and to continually refine and improve services.
Results
The collaboration led to significant improvements in Dawn’s operations, allowing Sally and Helen to focus more on their coaching and clients while Intend managed day-to-day tasks. We saw:
Increased efficiency: Centralised communications and standardised processes saved valuable time and made working together remotely much easier.
Enhanced brand presence: Professional and cohesive branding approach across all materials, coupled with high-quality branded merchandise, significantly improved brand perception.
Organic growth: The increase in LinkedIn engagement, website traffic, and client inquiries has strategically positioned Dawn for continued expansion.
Next steps: With a solid foundation in place, Dawn plans to enhance awareness of their impactful work through case studies, consistent LinkedIn updates, and proactive outreach to new prospects. Additionally, they will focus on reinforcing their role as transformation specialists by sharing regular thought-leadership content.
